Everyone knows the infamous English language idiom, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” But I do not believe that people think about that idiom as much as I do. When I look at a photograph, I feel like a story is being told.
There is more to this photograph than just the plain old tree branch. There is the wind that blew and the sun that shined upon the tree that showcased its beauty. There is the lovely weather that made the picture so desirable. There is the feeling of delightfulness which persuaded the person to capture that moment so he or she can look back and remember when their mind was at ease.
When I look at pictures, I feel like I was there. I feel like I was there in that very exact moment.
